Morpolio 2.0Proving there's truly an app for everything, The Morpholio Project launches version 2.0 of their portfolio app, which now bundles seven tools at the fingertips of creative designers everywhere.

The Morpholio Project announced Tuesday the release of Morpholio 2.0, a free, universal iOS app that makes it possible for creative designers to present, share and discuss their work with like-minded artists.

With the latest update, the portfolio app expands beyond simple presentation thanks to seven utility tools which can be used to create and manage image collections -- regardless of whether they're private or public.

“Aside from making design production easier, we wanted to know if better tools could make it smarter by integrating the wisdom of crowds and capitalizing on the power of the touchscreen to capture feedback,” explains Morpholio co-creator Anna Kenoff.

The result is Morpholio 2.0, whose core portfolio features offer a minimalist user interface that can be customized and reorganized at will, and synced between iOS devices. The new EyeTime feature provides real-world feedback on how portfolio images are being viewed, and for how long.

Morpholio's new "Crit" feature offers a way for artists to discuss their work with others, including the ability to sketch over any image to provide comments or design ideas. Palettes includes seventeen categories for popular workflows ranging from interior design to automotive design, fashion and architecture from world-renowned graphic designers.

Finally, Morpholio includes Pinup, where users can view daily galleries of curated work in a social network of like-minded creative types, as well as the ability to export print-ready files in a variety of layouts for creating a project portfolio in seconds.

Morpholio 2.01
is now available from the App Store; the universal app requires iOS 4.3 or later.
